As a director focused on the development of new works (and as an attendee of Gillette N2’s “rainiest rain show that ever rain showed, ever, ever, ever”), Meredith is thrilled to be working with the Anti-Hero team to bring this story to life! Originally from Lexington, KY, Meredith made her way to Iowa by way of Wellesley, MA, Providence, RI, and Portland, ME. She would like to thank the cast and creative team for bringing such a beautiful sense of play into this process every day and her parents for their unwavering support. |

![]() Dramaturg | MARGARET SMITH Margaret (she/her) is an MFA Dramaturgy candidate. Her most recent dramaturgical credits at the University of Iowa include the collectively created All Machines of Loving Grace (2024), Dance Nation (2024), Men on Boats (2023), and several readings through the Iowa Playwrights Workshop. She holds an MA in Theatre Criticism & Dramaturgy from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama at the University of London and a BA(Hons) in English Literature & Theatre Studies from the University of Sheffield. ![]() Costume Designer | I.M. FORTUNATO I.M. is a first-year theatre arts MFA candidate with a focus in costume design. She chose the University of Iowa for her graduate studies because she wanted to work with playwrights on developing new work. In her first year at U of I she had the pleasure of designing costumes for several new works including The Obituary by Xiaoyan Kang, and In This Sepulcher We Are Fed by Eli Campbell. I.M. is more than thrilled to be finishing her first year working on Anti-Hero and can’t wait to get to focus more on new play development in her next two years. |
