![]() Playwright | OLIVIA CLEMENT Olivia Clement is a second-year MFA playwright at the University of Iowa. Her plays include the arrogance of it (Griffin Award Shortlist); Heart & Soul Yoga Studio Beirut (DVRF Award Finalist; Griffin Award Shortlist; Corkscrew Theater Festival), Willoughby Road (SPACE on Ryder Farm Creative Residency), and A Thank You Left Unsaid (Sydney Fringe Festival). ![]() Director/Projection and Sound Designer | NATALIE VILLAMONTE ZITO Natalie Villamonte Zito is a second-year MFA directing candidate at the University of Iowa. She is an NYC-based theatre artist and is the founder/artistic director of The Wandering Theatre Company. Last year at Iowa, Natalie directed Ghost Limb, Candyland, and Wild, Wonderful. ![]() Scenic Designer | JUSTIN SWENSON* Justin is a fifth-year student majoring in theatre arts and history. He is also studying for his secondary education license with a focus on United States history and an all social studies endorsement. He has worked in the scene shop building mainstage sets since his first year at the university. His other scenic works include HIR, We All Were Sunflowers, and the upcoming show Three to Five Days. |
![]() Costume Designer | JILL KLINKEFUS* Jill Klinkefus is a fourth-year theatre arts major from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is focusing her studies on design, with a particular interest in costume design. This is Jill's first time designing costumes for a show at Iowa, and her first time working on a gallery production. Previous work includes assistant costume designer for Three Sisters. |
![]() Lighting Designer | NICOLE BLODIG* Nicole Blodig is a current sophomore majoring in theatre arts and art. This is her second production at the University of Iowa! Some of her favorite lighting design credits include Disney's Newsies, foreclosure, Mamma Mia!, and Almost, Maine. |
![]() Dramaturg | NATE FERGUSON Nate Ferguson is in his last year of the MFA program in dramaturgy and literary translation at Iowa. Previous productions at Iowa: Effective, Doctor Vysarius, Merrily, We All Were Sunflowers, Three Sisters, Still Life. He expects his thesis to be a new translation of a German classic, as yet to be determined. He also isn't quite sure how to express in the third-person program bio format all the big feelings he has about this last year of workshop and productions to come. |
![]() Stage Manager | DOROTHY CRAVEN* Dorothy Craven is a second-year theatre arts major from Chicago, Illinois. This is her fourth time stage managing at Iowa, having previously worked on productions such as Just For Fun, foreclosure, and Symphony. She would like to thank Natalie, Olivia, the design team, and the ensemble for bringing this production together and being amazing to work with! |
![]() Assistant Stage Manager | CASSANDRA HIGGS* Cassandra Higgs is a third-year transfer student here at the University of Iowa. She is majoring in English and creative writing and minoring in theatre arts. She has previously assistant stage managed for Greater Tuna at Iowa Western Community College.
