Bethany Kasperek is a second-year MFA student at the University of Iowa. Bethany is a costume designer and scenic designer/painter. At Iowa Bethany's credits include costume design for Bonnets (How Ladies of Good Breeding are Induced to Murder), scenic design for Three Sisters, and art director for Breath Behind The Mask. She is excited to be working on this project and can't wait for you to see it!

Costume Designer (A Refugee in Detroit and The Honey War) | ALASTAIR SIGALA RAMIREZ

Alastair Sigala Ramirez was born and raised in Amarillo, TX. He received his Associates in Theatre from Amarillo College and his BA from Texas Wesleyan University. He is a first-year design graduate focusing in costumes and lighting. Previous work includes puppet design for Avenue Q, costume design for The Hostage, and lighting design for Tartuffe at Texas Wesleyan University, as well as costume design for Mirette and Abyssina with Lyric Stage. He is a USITT member and wants to say Black Lives Matter and wear a mask.

Aella Rose-Hill is a fourth-year undergraduate student getting their BA in theatre arts with a minor in film. They've most recently been the lead costume designer for Perils of the Flowerbed, Palanquin, Colic, and The Addam's Family with Southwest Community Theatre. Aella will be the costume designer for Margarita Blush's devised work in the spring as part of UI's 2020-2021 mainstage season.

Bryon is a professor of design and Director of Theatre for the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Iowa. He has designed lighting and scenery for theatre, dance, and corporate events. This includes over 40 premiere productions of new plays.
His theatre design work has been seen at Portland Stage Company, Trinity Rep, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Axis Theatre, Intersection for the Arts, Miranda Theatre Company, Utah Musical Theatre, Cornell College, Middlebury College, Riverside Theatre and Iowa Summer Rep.

Composer/Sound Designer/Musician | MARK BRUCKNER

Mark Bruckner is a New York Innovative Theater and Audelco Award-winning composer, musician, sound artist ,and a Henry Hewes American Theatre Wing design nominee. Known for his work in new play development, musical theatre adaptations and revivals, and the development of wearable sound technology for production, he has received commissions from off-Broadway, regional theaters, colleges, and producing organizations across the US. At the 2019 International Saison de Theatre Insolite in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, sponsored by Les Sage Fous Theatre, he recently presented the world premiere performance of Body Concert, featuring an electro-acoustic scoreand ambisonic sound design for the work of master puppeteer, Kevin Augustine of the Lone Wolf Tribe.
