Ann Kreitman

Director | ANN KREITMAN

Ann is a third-year MFA Candidate in Directing. Ann has presented work in Chicago, New York City, and Philadelphia and with an artistic focus of using theatre to share queer history. She is an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographer's Society and formerly served as the Co-Artistic Director of (re)discover theatre. Her portfolio can be seen at annkreitman.com. In addition to her work at the University of Iowa, she is the Associate Director of the LGBTQ Iowa Archives and Library. This play is dedicated to every Martha who didn't see another way. 

Stage Manager | HALLIE PATTERSON

Hallie Patterson is a third-year Stage Management MFA candidate. She has worked professionally in Philadelphia, PA and New York, NY. Her work focuses on devising, new plays, and experimental theatre. Previously at The University of Iowa she has served as Stage Manager for Iowa Director’s Festival, Our Lady of 121st Street, and the MFA Dance Thesis Concert as well as Assistant Stage Manager for Ascend. She hopes you enjoy the show, continue to support the arts, and think about our collective queer future. 

Assistant Stage Manager | MEENAKSHI CHINMAI

Meenakshi Chinmai is a first-year Stage Management student at the University of Iowa. She is an international student from India. She developed a love for theatre at the age of six and has participated in several theatre and mask workshops. She has acted and stage managed several productions in India. She took after her mother to be a stage manager and has chosen the University of Iowa to further her knowledge. The Children's Hour is her first production at the university, and she is grateful to everyone for this exciting opportunity.

Rebecca Weaver

Dramaturg | REBECCA WEAVER

Rebecca Weaver is kicking off their first year as an MFA candidate in the dramaturgy program here at the University of Iowa. Previously, Rebecca obtained two bachelor’s degrees in English and Drama at Jacksonville State University where she then received her master’s degree in English. Their most recent theatre credits include dramaturging JSU’s production of Emilie: du Châtelet Defends Her Life Tonight, co-dramaturging (alongside Carmine Di Biase) The Shakespeare Project’s A Midsummer Night's Dream, and directing The Diary of Anne Frank by Wendy Kesselman. She is very excited and honored to begin her journey here at the University of Iowa with the wonderful production team and cast of The Children’s Hour.

Fight Choreographer | AARON CASTLE

Aaron Castle is a second-year MFA Acting candidate. Aaron is a Los Angeles based actor. His film credits include Clyde (Sleep No More), Adam stunt double (Pod Boy Nightmare), and Isaac (Omar). His theatre credits include John Proctor (The Crucible), Carl Specter (Holy Ghosts), and Adam Logan (Dysfunctional Family Christmas). Aaron is represented by Volition Entertainment.
