![]() Director/Choreographer | MICHAEL C. FLORES Michael C. Flores is a director/choreographer & current MFA Directing Candidate at UIowa. A few director/choreographer credits include Head Over Heels, Heathers: The Musical, 35MM: A Musical Exhibition, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder, The Rocky Horror Show & Bring it On The Musical. Part of Michael’s directorial focus is central to his experience with Dance-Theatre; he has written, directed & choreographed two pieces titled LITTLE BOY BLUE (2018) & MEMORY (2022). While at UIowa thus far, Michael has directed In this Sepulcher, We are Fed & Razor Creek: A Folk Rock Musical as well as served as Assistant Director & Choreographer for Into the Woods. Most recently Michael also serves as producer & choreographer for Fairyland: A Queer Cabaret hosted at the Englert Theatre supported by depts of Theatre, Dance, & Music & Performing Arts at Iowa. |

![]() Stage Manager | SAVANHA MOORE Savanha Moore (She/Her) is a Theatrical Artist and Production Stage Manager from Southern California. She is happy to be continuing her education at the University of Iowa as a third-year Stage Management MFA candidate. Savanha has always wanted to tell stories that serve a greater purpose and that makes way for the change she would like to see in the world. Thank you to the cast and crew and creative team for their incredible work throughout this process. Scenic Designer | NAZANIN VAKILI Nazanin is a first-year MFA Scenic Design candidate at the University of Iowa. With a background in architecture from the Art University of Isfahan, she aims to bring a rich blend of technical expertise and creative insight to her work. Nazanin is excited to contribute to the vision of Flashes and extends special thanks to the production team for providing such an inspiring experience. |
![]() Sound Designer | ZHENYA LOUGHNEY* Zhenya Loughney (they/them) is studying theatre sound design and journalism with the intentions of graduating this fall. Last year, they were given the opportunity to sound design and underscore "Macbeth" at Theatre UI. Loughney is not a traditional musician, nor do they have much classic training, but growing up with the internet gave them the audacity to believe they could do anything. They fell in love with the world of sound when they began university, and slowly spiraled to where they are now. Enjoy the show! |
