Joshua | WAROON JALUKAR*

Waroon Jalukar is a fourth-year student in the Tippie College of Business studying marketing. He insists that marketing and theatre arts have more in common than you'd think. This is Waroon’s second production following his debut in the 2022 Ten-Minute Play Festival earlier this year. He thanks the entire cast and crew of Basically Children for tolerating accommodating his antics and showing him the ropes. Shout-out to Maya and Sarah!

Erin | ARLO SCHNEIDER*

Arlo Schneider (he/they) is a fourth-year theatre arts major at the university. He is usually a playwright but sometimes he does other stuff too, so as to keep the population on their toes. Many have described him as, "delightful", "perfect", and "oh yeah, I know him from class." He is very glad to be acting again.

David Díaz is excited to make his return to the stage for the first time since this year’s graduating seniors were freshman in high school. So, there’s that. David graduated with a double major in marketing and theatre arts (with a concentration in acting) from The University of Notre Dame in 2014 and currently works as a data management and strategy consultant for Accenture.

Jack | OWEN BRIGHTMAN

Owen Brightman is a University of Iowa Theatre Arts alum, class of 2020. His roles while at the university included Patience in All The Yellows, Owen in You Are Not Alone In The Void, and William Shakespeare in Shakespeare in Flux. After graduating, Owen spent two of the longest years in recorded history in his hometown, and has recently returned to Iowa City to pursue a career in theatrical intimacy coordination and choreography.
