![]() Cristal | E'MMA CAMARA* E'mma Fatima Camara is wrapping up her third year here at the University of Iowa. She is double majoring in theatre and psychology with a minor in sociology. You may have seen her in the theatre department's recent production In the Red and Brown Water and in one of last years New Play Festival productions, Booth. When not acting, E'mma enjoys going on her daily walks, eating cheese, and hanging out with her friends. She hopes you enjoy the reading! |

Lawyer | BYRON LÓPEZ ELLINGTON* Byron López Ellington is an English and creative writing major with a minor in Spanish and a growing interest in acting. His first stage role was as Neil, the titular character in Isaac Smith's HORSE-BOY, during the 2024 Ten-Minute Play Festival. ![]() Jeri | MICHELE PAYNE HINZ Michele Payne Hinz was last seen on stage at Iowa as Assine in Three to Five Days, and she's delighted to be back for the New Play Festival. She was most recently on stage as Professor Marvel and The Wizard in The Wizard of Oz at Theatre Cedar Rapids, and just finished directing Significant Other for Iowa City Community Theatre. Thanks to everyone who has given her this opportunity, and to her own significant other. |
![]() Isabella | FABIENNE RINK Fabienne is an MFA Literary Translation student from Germany with a love for the arts, especially music and theatre. Since early childhood, she participated in concerts, sang on CDs, and pursued acting in a youth theatre group. After her BA in Journalism and MA in Literary & Cultural Studies in Dortmund, Germany, she found her way back on stage in the ensemble of Lil G: A Gatsby Remix for the New Play Festival 2023 at the University of Iowa. |
