Playwright | ISAIAH REAVES

Isaiah Reaves is an emerging young playwright whose work explores a spectrum of Black and Queer experiences. A native of Cincinnati, he graduated cum laude from Northern Kentucky University in 2020. His plays have been commissioned and staged by The Classical Theatre of Harlem at Lincoln Center, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, and many others.

Director | DENNIS A. ALLEN II

Dennis A. Allen II was born and raised in Hempstead, New York.  As an actor, Dennis helped to develop and performed in Reid Farrington's Tyson vs. Ali and the world premiere of Kate Benson's A Beautiful Day in November on the Banks of The Greatest of the Great Lakes. Dennis is an adjunct professor in the Theatre Department at LaGuardia Community College and Montclair State University. Dennis also teaches artist workshops around the country.

Stage Manager | TAYLOR LEIGH JACKSON

Iowa New Play Festival is Taylor’s fourth production at University of Iowa, previously working on 6 by 6, Dance Gala, and An Unsettled Body. Taylor is a recent transplant from Omaha, NE, navigating her first year in the MFA Stage Management program. She has worked as an independently contracted stage and company manager for the past 13 years for productions ranging from opera, dance, plays, musicals, and symphonies. Proud member of IATSE Local 42.
