Playwright and Performer \| JEREMY GERAGOTELIS Jeremy Geragotelis is a playwright and composer. Their work has been produced in New York, Vermont, Philadelphia, and Tokyo, Japan. They are a second-year MFA candidate at the University of Iowa’s Playwrights Workshop.
Director \| KENNETH COLLINS Kenneth Collins is an American artist who works in performance, film, and sculpture. He is best known for his work with Temporary Distortion, a contemporary art and performance collective he formed in NYC in 2000 to explore the tensions and overlaps existing between the practices of visual art, theater, cinema, and music. He continually works across disciplines to create projects that have been shown in over 25 cities in a dozen countries around the world.
Composer \| JOHN SULLY John Sully is a two-time NYSCA award-winning composer, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist from NYC. His music for stage and film has crossed the globe, including numerous cities in Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Europe, Eastern Europe, North, and South America. As a multi-instrumentalist, he has shared the stage with such notables as Martin Chambers, Bo Diddley, Fishbone, Albert King, and Noel Reading. He has been the composer and sound designer for NYC's Temporary Distortion since 2006.
Costume Designer \| KAELEN NOVAK Kaelen Novak is a first-year MFA student pursuing costume and scenic design here at the University of Iowa. They recently costumed the production of Effective at the University of Iowa, a visual album for Southeastern Louisiana University, Slips Away, and a documentary of the process, The Play That Never Opened. They are excited to start on full productions again and looks forward to designing more for UI in the future and to explore this new world of theatre.
Stage Manager and Sound Designer \| TAYLOR LEIGH JACKSON An Unsettled Body is Taylor’s third production at University of Iowa, previously working on 6 by 6: Collected Perspectives on Social Justice and Dance Gala. Taylor is a recent transplant from Omaha, NE, navigating her first year in the MFA stage management program. She has worked as an independently contracted stage and company manager for the past 13 years for productions, including opera, dance, plays, musicals, and symphonies. Proud member of IATSE Local 42.
