![]() CRISTINA GOYENECHE Cristina Goyeneche is excited to be back for her second voyage on Global Express. She recently joined the theatre department this Fall as the new Visiting Assistant Professor of Acting and is currently working on becoming a certified Consent-Forward artist. Some past acting credits include Electricidad (Clemencia, Kern Shakespeare Festival), Crumbs/Migas (Marielena, ACT Contemporary Theatre), and Shakespeare in Love (Viola, Ovation Theatre). Cristina received a BA in both Theatre Arts and Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield and her MFA in Acting from the University of Iowa. |

She most recently played Emily Whitman in Follies (ICCT) and this is her third time on the Global Express! He graduated from the University of Iowa in 2018, and since then has acted, taught and meandered around Maryland before returning to Iowa in the fall of 2022. Since then he has spent time talking to his cats, Walter, Norbert, and Artie, and supporting and being supported by his amazing wife, Sam. |

![]() RIP RUSSELL A UI Theatre Arts graduate ('83,) Rip has performed with Working Group Theatre, Theatre Cedar Rapids, The Classics at Brucemore, SPT Theatre, City Circle Acting Co., Combined Efforts Theatre, Iowa City Community Theatre, UI Theatres, UI Summer Rep, Purple Cow Dinner Theatre, Old Creamery Theatre, and over 20 productions with Riverside Theatre. Favorite roles include Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird", Juror #8 in "12 Angry Men", The Duke in "Big River", Ray in "Blackbird", Eddie Carbone in "A View from the Bridge", Prince Dauntless in "Once Upon a Mattress", King Arthur in "Spamalot", Willy Loman in "Death of a Salesman", and Pastor Paul in "The Christians". Rip wishes to thank Janis, and is happily enjoying retirement! |
BARRY SCHREIER Barry has acted and directed in dozens of community theatre productions in Indiana, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Iowa. Barry is currently directing Iowa City Community Theatre’s upcoming production of “Frost/Nixon” at the James Theatre this January. Barry also endlessly participates in improv theatre.
