Stage Manager | CHARLIE SCHMELZER*

Charlie Schmelzer is a fourth-year Math and Theatre arts double major. This year, he designed the lights for The (T-)Re(X) formation, Sound Designed for the Big Ball extravaganza, Wrote and Directed “When You Read This,” and worked on a multitude of other projects. Schmelzer is excited to SM this festival and is thankful for all of the other SM’s who have graciously shared their time and resources. 

Lighting Designer | MARISA RODRIGUEZ*

Marisa Rodriguez is very happy to make their debut as a lighting designer for Ten Minute Play Festival. They are a second-year Theatre Arts major and Digital Arts certificate student. Previously, they’ve worked crew for Spells for Going Forth by Daylight, Razor Creek: a folk-rock, sci-fi musical, and This is Only a Test during the 2024 New Play Festival.

Olivia Jursik is a fourth-year Theatre Major. She is excited to be an assistant stage manager for the first time here at UIowa! She was previously in the University's 2022 production of the Ten-Minute Play Festival. She would like to thank her parents for always being supportive and the cast and crew for being so amazing.
