Magenta | ALEX JOHNSON* Alex Johnson (He/Him) is a first year Nursing student at the University of Iowa. His previous roles include an ensemble member in Drag'dalore and Max in Only a Mask. Shout out to Ava Henrie for making him audition for shows, and his High School speech coach Marissa Kuiken for teaching him what he knows about acting. |
Iris | ADDISON McBRIDE* Addison is a second year double major in Theatre Arts and Photography at the University of Iowa. She grew up in the theater and choir scenes, and has been a part of several productions including her roles as Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker, Jane Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, and many more. After acting in GOWANUS/DEGENERATES and Day Fades Into Night Fades Into Day last year, All That Glitters will be her 3rd performance here at Iowa. |
Sapphire | ALEESA LAVRENKO* Aleesa is in her final year of Cinematic and Theatre Arts. Her past productions include All Machines of Loving Grace, Spells for Going Forth By Daylight, and Indoctrination of Bananas. Aleesa would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her throughout this journey, and is incredibly grateful for her time here at Iowa! |
Leo | KYLEN PHILLIPS* Kylen Phillips is a senior at the University of Iowa, majoring in Screenwriting and Theatre Arts. He is no stranger to the Iowa stage; He has been in shows like Argonautika by Mary Zimmerman, Macbeth by William Shakespeare, and more! He is thankful to have been included in this show. The graduating student can't wait to put his skills to the test in the real world! |
Kit | ALEX-SMITH PERRY* Alex Smith-Perry is a second-year undergraduate student from Atlanta, Georgia, on the Pre-Law track studying Theatre Arts with minors in News and Media Literacy and Religious Studies. He was most recently seen in Argonautika (Hylas, Dymas), making All That Glitters his third production at the University of Iowa. He would like to thank his friends, family, and dog for their endless support. |
Diana | MARGARET WILLIAMSON* Margaret Williamson is a second year studying theatre arts on the playwriting track, screenwriting arts, and media management. Previous UIowa credits include "Day Fades Into Night Fades Into Day" (Ruth), NPF Readings' "LARPlay" (Liz), and "Drill Drill Drill" (Miss Mars). She would like to give an extra special shout out to her mom, dad, and brother for being the best. She also would like to remind each and every one of you that you are so loved, no matter what! |
Mike | KEN VAN EDGON* A native of Southern California, Ken is a third year in the undergraduate program majoring in Theatre Arts. When his mid-life crisis hit, he decided to go back to school to pursue the degree he always wanted. He’ll figure out how to use it later. He was last seen in the McVey Auditorium Fall, 2024 in Gowanus/Degenerates. He would like to thank the cast, and especially Ro and Celia for working around his work schedule. He would also like to thank his husband, Ben, who always encourages him to follow his heart and trust himself to make the right choices. |
Olivier | NICK HULL* Nick Hull is a fourth-year Screenwriting major at the University of Iowa. You may recognize him from last semester's Earthus Terminus (Dirk). He's incredibly honored to be a part of another show before graduating this semester, and to learn from all the incredibly talented performers alongside him. |
James | SOREN MARTIN* Soren is a Sophomore Computer Science and Theatre major at Iowa. He was previously in (T-)RE(X) FORMATION and Far Away. He wants to thank his parents for their long timesupport. |
Christiane | AVA HENRIE* Ava Henrie (She/Her) is ecstatic to be in her second UIowa production! She is a first-year English and Creative Writing and Theatre Arts double major. You might recognize her as the Secretary of the Seas from last fall’s Earthus Terminus. Ava would like to thank her mom, because she always does and hopes everyone can open their glittery minds and enjoy the show! |
Darlene | AVA SLATER* Ava is a second-year undergraduate student double majoring in English Publishing and Theatre Arts. Her previous performances at the University of Iowa include An Enemy of the People (Townsperson) and Earthus Terminus (Piscator). She couldn’t be more grateful for her All That Glitters family and remember, cup of noodles, I look good! |
