Shakespeare begins Act 4 of The Winter’s Tale with a monologue from “Time,” recapping the 16 years that pass between Acts 3 and 4. In 16 Winters, University of Iowa Playwriting alum Mary Hamilton imagines the journey that each character takes during this enchanted gap in time.
