Andrew Lindsay

ANDREW LINDSAY*

Andrew Lindsay graduated from Ballard High School in 2021 and is a second-year student at the University of Iowa, majoring in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts. Andrew participated in numerous productions in high school, along with extracurricular speech. At the university, Andrew has starred in Gwenevere, And Then, and most recently, Journey to the Lovely Empire. Andrew thanks his friends and family for their support as he continues to follow his passion for acting. 

Barry Schreier

BARRY SCHREIER

Barry A. Schreier, Ph.D. has directed and acted in community theatres across the Midwest and East Coast. Barry was most recently involved in directing Superior Donuts and playing Charlemagne in Pippin at the Iowa City Community Theatre. Barry acted in and owned a comedy improv company for nearly ten years and still misses it everyday. While not on stage, Barry is a licensed psychologist in private practice and is full-time faculty in the doctoral program in Counseling Psychology at the University of Iowa. Barry, as usual, thanks his partner Tom, the darn best theatre widower in the world!

Catie Rios

Catie Rios is a first-year student at the University of Iowa with a passion for acting. She has recently appeared in Journey to the Lovely Empire at the university and was excited to take on this new culturally centered project.

Josh Sazon

JOSH SAZON

Josh Sazon has worked on a number of local productions over the years, both onstage and off. He is especially appreciative of the opportunity to perform works by the participants of the University’s International Writers Program, his third time to do so.

Kathy Maxey

KATHY MAXEY

Kathy Maxey graduated from the University of Iowa and has been active in local community theatre. She most recently played Miss Prism in The Importance of Being Earnest (City Circle) and Mother in Blood Wedding (ICCT). Kathy would like to thank Eric Forsythe and the IWP writers for the opportunity to present their writings to our community.

Nite Club Confidential), Genevieve (The Bakers Wife), Desiree (A Little Night Music), Violet (August: Osage County), Linda Loman (Death Of A Salesman), JoAnn (Company), The Club, Gay Divorce, Ah Wilderness, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, The Dixie Swim Club, Eye Piece, What’s A Nice Country Doing In A State Like This?, Matilda, Uncle Vanya, Three Sisters.

Susan Chambers

SUSAN CHAMBERS

Susan first acted in Global Express over 25 years ago. Having retired in the last year from academic advising and teaching acting, she found time once again to join in this international endeavor.
