The Job

By Ikram Basra
Directed by Sarah Gazdowicz

In Ikram Basra's monologue The Job, a young Pakistani journalist takes us on a journey through the political and cultural landscape of post-9/11 Pakistan during the US war in Afghanistan. The Pakistani government is allowing Americans to resupply through Pakistan, but the Taliban, an old society that spans both sides of the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, targets the government of Pakistan, and the Pakistani people are caught in the middle. This play is not for the faint of heart.

This production contains adult language, violence, and adult themes.
