Savanha Moore

Stage Manager | SAVANHA MOORE

Savanha Moore (She/Her) is a Theatrical Artist and Production Stage Manager from Southern California. She is happy to be continuing her education at the University of Iowa as a Stage Management MFA candidate. Her recent show credits include: HBO House of the Dragons Activation (SDCC 2022), Untitled Baby Play (IAMA Theatre), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Geffen Playhouse), Celestial Events (IAMA Theatre), Robin Hood Panto (Laguna Playhouse), Reapers Remorse (13th Floor Entertainment), HULU’s Castle Rock Activation (SDCC 2018), and NBC’s Good Place Activation (SDCC 2018). Savanha thanks those who have always supported her on this journey and encouraged her to take that leap of faith; without your support none of this would be possible. Abigail Coleman

Puppet Designer | ABIGAIL MANSFIELD COLEMAN

Abigail Mansfield Coleman is a third-year MFA candidate in Costume Design, Makeup, and Mask and Puppetry. She has been designing for over 10 years across the Carolinas and Georgia. She has designed over 45 productions, including Into the Woods (3 times!), Tuck Everlasting (2018 KCATCF Region IV Costume Design Nomination); and Exit the King (2017 KCATCF Region IV Nomination). Her most recent costume design at the University of Iowa was the 2022 spring musical, String, and The Weir, and Henry V at Riverside Theatre.

Fight Choreographer | ORLANDO LOPEZ

Orlando Lopez (He/Him/His) is a graduate Acting student at the University of Iowa. Hailing from Hialeah, a suburb of Miami, Orlando completed his BFA in Acting from the University of Central Florida. After receiving his BFA, he worked with the Cherokee Historical Association (Unto These Hills 2019 & 2021), Warner Bros./Rail Events (Polar Express: Ft. Lauderdale), Juggernaut Theatre (Miami Motel Stories), and Riverside Theatre (Henry V). He thanks his parents and his friends for their endless support. 

 

Meredith Alexander

Production Advisor | MEREDITH ALEXANDER

Meredith Alexander is Emeritus faculty in the University of Iowa Theatre Arts Department. She directed and taught acting from 1991 to 2019. She was also affiliate faculty in the Department of Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies. While pursuing her MFA at the University of California San Diego, she performed with the Old Globe Theatre Company. She taught at UCSD and San Diego State University before joining the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she headed both undergraduate and graduate acting programs. Alexander has also directed professionally in New York, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Kansas City. She also devised and taught a class for over 10 years for writers and performers on writing and performing their own autobiographical works, which has led to her current primary interest in working with new plays and playwrights. For innovation in addressing diverse identities in the classroom, notably through her Performing Autobiography course that caters to creative writers in a variety of departments, she received the President and Provost Award for Teaching Excellence, the highest honor for teaching conferred at the University of Iowa.
