Meet the Creative Team of Just Above Hades
Playwright \| EMMA SILVERMAN Emma Silverman is a playwright from New York City and a recent graduate of Pomona College. Emma currently is a second year MFA candidate in the Iowa Playwright’s Workshop at the University of Iowa with an expected graduation in May 2022.
Director \| NINA MORRISON Nina Morrison is a playwright, screenwriter, director and teaching artist. MFA Directing UI and MFA Playwrights Workshop UI.
Dramaturg \| MARGO SKORNIA Margo Skornia s a first-year MFA Dramaturg. She wants to extend her thanks to Emma and to the entire creative team of Just Above Hades. She sends love and gratitute to her family.
Stage Manager \| TAYLOR LEIGH JACKSON Iowa New Play Festival is Taylor’s fourth production at University of Iowa, previously working on 6 by 6, Dance Gala, and An Unsettled Body. Taylor is a recent transplant from Omaha, NE, navigating her first year in the MFA Stage Management program. She has worked as an independently contracted stage and company manager for the past 13 years for productions ranging from opera, dance, plays, musicals, and symphonies. Proud member of IATSE Local 42.
