Meredith G. Healy (She/her) is a first-year Directing Candidate at the University of Iowa. As a director focused on the development of new works, Meredith is thrilled to be working with Sixtus, Patrick, and the full Brother-Brother team to bring this story to life! Originally from Lexington, KY, Meredith made her way to Iowa by way of Wellesley, MA, Providence, RI, and Portland, ME. Some of her favorite directing credits include Gruesome Playground Injuries (Wellesley College Upstage), The Pleiades (The Wilbury Theatre Group), The Stand (Boston Theatre Marathon), and Flirting with Disaster (Maine Playwrights Festival).

Stage Manager/Co Sound Designer | SOPHIE YOUNG*

Sophie Young is a third-year student studying Theatre, Cinema, and Public Digital Arts with a focus on Stage Management. Previous University of Iowa Stage Management credits include American Rusałki, The Lazaretto, Stars and Stones, and Cupid Tyrannous. Previous University of Iowa Assistant Stage Management credits include Ugly Lies The Bone, Rockabye, I Saw You/New Person. Her thanks go out to Elizabeth, Dorothy, and the entire cast and creative team.

Cj Johnson is a scenic designer pursuing an MFA in Theatre Design at the University of Iowa.  Originally from Alaska, they have worked on everything from Lysistrata to Kung Fu Hamlet. They are honored to be a part of such a fantastic team working on this show!

Costume Designer | I.M. FORTUNATO

I.M. Fortunato is a costume designer currently pursuing an MFA in Theatre Design at the University of Iowa. Coming from Buffalo, NY, Bella has designed costumes for several shows including Roger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella and Twelfth Night. Bella has always had a passion for new and experimental theatre and is elated to be part of the team in workshopping this show. She hopes to be able to explore more new work at U of I.

Lighting Designer | NICOLE BLODIG*

Nicole Blodig is a fourth- year undergraduate Theatre Arts major on the design track, studying lighting design, with an art minor. She has designed numerous shows at the university; recent credits include In This Sepulcher, We Are Fed (2023), Ghost Town (2023) and rockabye, or: A Play About a Tree (2022). Over the summer, Nicole worked for Hope Repertory Theatre in Holland, Michigan, designing Three Little Birds as well as assisting on Rock of Ages and Boeing, Boeing. In her designs, she enjoy using lighting in a generative way that amplifies emotion on the stage through variation in color, texture, and angle. Post-graduation, she plans on moving to New York to work as an electrician and freelance lighting designer.
