SARAH GAZDOWICZ

Sarah is so excited to collaborate with these wonderful artists once again! Sarah graduated from UIowa in May with an MFA in directing.  Recent directing work includes Dance Nation, Pierogi Play, The Bacchae, and small hours (Iowa Director’s Festival). Recent acting work includes Amber in You’re Still Here (NPF), Malvolia in Twelfth Night (Riverside Theatre), and Powell in Men on Boats (UIowa). Love to Bob and Tipsy!

JODY HOVLAND

Jody Hovland is a founder and former Artistic Director of Riverside Theatre, serving as actor/director/producer and supporter of new play development for 34 years. She appeared at Riverside this season in The Trip to Bountiful, and directed What the Constitution Means to Me for Crooked Path Theatre. Her regional work includes several seasons as a director and actor with California’s San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre. Jody has an MFA in acting from the University of Iowa, and served as Distinguished Arist-in-Residence at Cornell College. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity.

SOPHIA KILBURG

Sophia Kilburg is a Spring 2023 graduate of the University of Iowa with degrees in Theatre Arts and English and an actor/choreographer/educator based in the Quad Cities. Recent projects include choreographing Chicago at Double Threat Studios and Finding Nemo at Davenport Junior Theatre, as well as performing in Singin’ in the Rain at Quad City Music Guild and A Christmas Story at Circa ‘21. Sophia would like to thank her teachers, family, and friends!

ORLANDO LOPEZ

Orlando Lopez (He/Him/His) is a graduate acting student at the University of Iowa. Hailing from Hialeah, FL. Orlando earned his BFA in Acting from the University of Central Florida. Some of his favorite credits: Macbeth (Macbeth), Dance Nation (Dance Teacher Pat), Braided Sorrow (Carlos), Our Lady of 121st Street (Edwin) at the University of Iowa. Everybody (Everybody/Somebody), Twelfth Night (Sebastian), Henry V (Duke of Orleans) at Riverside Theatre, among many more. He thanks his parents and his friends for their endless support.
