Playwright \| OLIVIA CLEMENT Olivia Clement is a French-Australian playwright and screenwriter, and currently the Dee Sliver Postgraduate Playwriting Fellow at the University of Iowa. She graduated with her MFA in Playwriting from UIowa in 2023. Her thesis play, The Arrogance, will have its world premiere in Sydney, Australia in July 2024. Thank you to Dee Silver for commissioning Iris, to my advisor Lisa Schlesinger, to director Natalie Villamonte Zito for another beautiful collaboration, and to the entire amazing cast!
Director \| NATALIE VILLAMONTE ZITO Natalie is a recent graduate of the UIowa MFA Directing program and is honored to be collaborating with Olivia Clement again on this deeply moving play! Natalie’s Off-Off Broadway directing credits can be found at www.NatalieVillamonteZito.com UIowa directing credits: Braided Sorrow, You’re Still Here, Basically Children, Letters from Cuba, Three to Five Days, Wild Wonderful, Candyland, and Ghost Limb. Natalie is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and is one of the founders of The Wandering Theatre Company.
Stage Manager \| JACKSON KOPESKY Jackson J. Kopesky is a stage manager and designer working in and around Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. He received a Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts and Computer Science from the University of Iowa in 2023, and has since worked on Frozen Jr., Men on Boats, Borderless, and ARatorio for the Mis-Remembered, amongst others. His thanks go to Cosette, who he loves dearly.
