Isaac Addai is a Ghanaian-American, second-year MFA Acting candidate from Rialto, California. The Bacchae is his third stage appearance, and he has enjoyed every minute of the process. Gye Nyame, Nyame Nnwu Na Mawu. 

Michael Taylor headshot


Michael Taylor is a second-year MFA Acting candidate here at the University of Iowa. He received his BA in Speech Communication and Theatre from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. This is Michael's 2nd show at UI, after previously starring in Gwenevere last spring. After graduate school, he plans to further his acting career doing more theatre, and eventually transitioning into film. He wants to thank everyone who made this production possible, as well as his family and close friends. 

Victoria McFadden


Victoria McFadden is a 2021 graduate from the University of Iowa who has always had a passion for the arts. As an undergraduate, she spent lots of her time involved in productions at the University as well as independent film projects. Since leaving the university she has traveled abroad to get her Yoga Teacher certification and is excited to return as Agave for her first live role post graduation. 

Kathleen Guerrero


Kathleen M. Guerrero is a second-year MFA Acting candidate from Crystal City, Texas. She is a recent graduate of The University of Texas at Austin’s Theatre and Dance Department. Her recent credits include England’s Splendid Daughters by Ann Kreitman, This Is Life by Frances Garnett and Kathleen Guerrero, La Ruta by Issac Gomez, Three to Five Days by Olivia Clement, and much more. She would like to thank her friends, family, and faculty for helping her get to where she is now. Gracias por todo! 

Monté J. Howell


Monté J. Howell is a New York City based actor who's currently pursuing his MFA at the University of Iowa (Acting), where he also serves as a graduate teaching assistant. In addition to his studies, Mr. Howell currently serves as an adjudicator and educator for Des Moines Performing Arts', Iowa High School Musical Theatre Awards. Mr. Howell was last seen in Henry V at Riverside Theatre. Selected Credits: Les Misérables (Broadway National Tour), The Golden Apple (New York City Center: Encores!), The Countess of Storyville (NYC Lab), Les Misérables (The MUNY), Shrek (Alliance Theatre), Sister Act (Arkansas Rep), The Music Man (Flat Rock Playhouse), Porgy and Bess (Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh), and Little Shop of Horrors (Stages St. Louis). Yo, I'm Colin. And there's nothing that gets me ready for a theatre preformance like some good old chicken at Hy-vee! Yessir! We can meet any of your meat needs! Whether it's savory chicken tenders, fried chicken, baked chicken, pork tenderloins, or even some delicious mashed potatoes! All for a great price! Come by on Thursdays for steak night! Hy-vee, a smile on any corner! 

Dajzané Meadows-Sanderlin


Dajzané Meadows-Sanderlin is a second-year MFA actor at the University of Iowa. She is beyond excited to “bring you to the mountain” to share this story! Dajzané received her BA in Theater with a concentration in Acting from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Her most recent productions include BLKS, Gwenevere, and Three to Five Days. Dajzané would like to thank the cast and crew for this amazing process and her family and friends for their love and support!

Katie is a fourth-year Theatre major at the University of Iowa. She has been seen in other roles such as Sonia in Our Lady of 121st Street and an ensemble member in String. Grandma Bacchic Ensemble | HOLLAND LARNED*

Holland is a second-year student at Iowa, studying Theatre, Italian, and pursuing a certificate in Social Justice and the Performing Arts. Holland has appeared on Morningside University’s stage as Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Frenchy in Sioux City Community Theatre’s Grease, and Audrey in Sioux City Community Theatre’s Little Shop of Horrors.

Jason Vernon is in his first semester at the University of Iowa with a major in Theatre Arts. This is Jason’s first production at the University. Recent theater credits include playing Snoopy in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown with Story Theater Company. Jason thanks everyone involved with this production who made this experience amazing and is very excited for audiences to see it!

Semele Bacchic Ensemble | GENESIS JONES*

Genesis Jones is a sophomore here at the University of Iowa. She is currently seeking her degree in Neuroscience, Theatre Arts, and perusing certification in Resilience and Trauma Informed Perspectives. She is also assisting in undergraduate research within the Internal Medicine department here at the University. This is her first production at the University of Iowa. In her free time, she enjoys singing, writing poetry, and watching documentaries. She invites everyone to support the Theatre Arts department and to continue attending productions on campus! She hopes you enjoy the show!  

Aneesa Housel

Bacchic Ensemble | ANEESA HOUSEL*

Aneesa Housel is in her first year at the University of Iowa. This is her very first show here, and she is so excited! Shawnee Mission South Theatre: She Kills Monsters (Farrah), Have You Heard (Zoe), Prop Crew Head 2021-2022. Christian Youth Theatre: Footloose (Cowboy Bob Band member). She thanks the entire cast and crew for this show for making it such a wonderful experience. She would also like to thank her friends and family for all their support.
