Emma Silverman is currently a second-year MFA candidate at the Iowa Playwrights Workshop. Emma is a New York City native and a recent graduate of Pomona College.

Director | NATALIE VILLAMONTE ZITO

Natalie Villamonte Zito is a first-year MFA directing candidate at the University of Iowa. She is an NYC-based theatre artist; her most recent Off-Off Broadway directing credits include: The Trial of Mrs. Surratt, The Laramie Project Cycle, The Insanity of Mary Girard, and Jean Anouilh’s Antigone. She is an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and is the founder of The Wandering Theatre Company.

Scenic Designer | BETHANY KASPEREK

Bethany Kasperek is a second-year MFA student at the University of Iowa. Bethany is a costume designer and scenic designer/painter. At Iowa, Bethany's credits include costume design for Bonnets (How Ladies of Good Breeding are Induced to Murder), scenic design for Three Sisters, and art director for Breath Behind The Mask. She is excited to be working on this project and can't wait for you to see it!

Costume & Puppet Designer | ABIGAIL MANSFIELD-COLEMAN

Abigail Mansfield-Coleman is a first year MFA Costume Design, Mask and Puppetry student. She has been designing for over 12 years across the Carolinas and Southeast. Abigail has designed over 45 productions, including, Into the Woods (3 times!), Tuck Everlasting (2018 KCATCF Costume Design Nomination); and Exit the King (2017 KCATCF Nomination). Recent work at the University of Iowa includes A Plant (Fall 2020).

Alastair Sigala Ramirez

Lighting Designer | ALASTAIR SIGALA RAMIREZ

Alastair Sigala Ramirez received his Associates in Theatre from Amarillo College and his Ba from Texas Wesleyan University. He is a first-year design graduate focusing on costumes and lighting. Previous work with University of Iowa includes lighting design for A Plant and costume design for 6 by 6: Collected Perspectives on Social Justice. He is a USITT member and wants to say Black Lives Matter and wear a mask.

Sound Designer | HUDA AL-AITHAN

Huda Al-Aithan received her MA and MFA degrees from the University of Iowa in three-dimensional design with a second emphasis in theatre arts. Huda’s work has been exhibited in design exhibitions in Milan, New York, and Chicago.

Stage Manager | DYLAN NICOLE MARTIN

Dylan Nicole Martin is a first-year MFA stage manager. Since graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2016 with a BA in Theatre Design and Production they have been teaching and stage managing in the Twin Cities. Dylan wants to acknowledge that their learning at the University of Iowa takes place on the occupied land of the sovereign Native tribes who continue to live and thrive in Iowa. Calling Stage Manager | Mady Davis

Mady Davis is a second-year MFA stage manager and GCTC student from the Twin Cities. Her past University of Iowa credits include: Essential Workers: A Portrait (SM), Breath Behind the Mask (SM), and The Light in the Piazza (ASM) (before it was cancelled due to the pandemic). She would like to thank her friends and family for all the love, support, and laughs.
