![]() Playwright/Director | CHARLIE SCHMELZER* Charlie Schmelzer is a fourth-year Mathematics and Theatre Arts Double Major. His previous Uiowa credits include Borderless: Big Ball Extravaganza(sound designer), The (T-)Re(x)formation (lighting designer) Home is Where the TV is (actor) Fathers and Sons(actor), The Lazaretto(actor) and When it Matters Most (playwright) for the 10-minute Play Festival 2022. Charlie is thankful for everything that has happened up to this point: good and bad, because this show is the amalgamation of everything he has done up to this point, and he is also thankful for his amazing cast and creative team because without them this show would never be in the state that it is today. |

Her previous UIowa credits includes workshop productions The Space Between Coke Bottles and Orange Slices and UH-OH! as well as the gallery production of The Obituary. She also designed the lights for Spells for Going Forth by Daylight, a production at New Play Festival in Spring 2024.
