Playwright & Director | RO KIVETT* Ro Kivett is a fifth year at the University of Iowa, graduating this spring with a major in Theatre Arts, minor in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies, and a certificate in Social Justice and the Performing Arts. This is Ro's ninth production with the university, and second time producing a play as a part of Undergraduates Playwright's Workshop. Previous shows include And Tell Sad Stories of the Death of Queens (Candy Delaney), Anti-Hero: Revenge of the Swifties (Malcolm), and UH-OH! (playwright). Stage Manager | CELIA BONAWANDT* Celia Bonawandt is a second-year student at the University of Iowa studying English and Creative Writing and Theatre Arts. This is her fifth show with the University, having previously been the Stage Manager for A Starry Night. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her and she hopes you enjoy the show! |
Sound Designer | NATANAEL OCTAVIO PAYÁN Natanael “Nat” Octavio Payán (he/they) is a Spring 2024 graduate with a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Iowa. Some of his previous theatre credits include Uh-Oh!(Director/Sound Designer), Grown Backwards (Costume/Sound Designer), Spells for Going Forth by Daylight (Stage Manager), Home Is Where the TV Is (Makeup Designer), and The Space Between Coke Bottles and Orange Slices (Playwright/Director). Nat would like to thank the cast and crew for making this such a wonderful project to work on. Special thanks to his dearest friend and favorite artistic collaborator, Ro Kivett, for yet again putting up with him through another production. “To be seen is to be loved.” |
Lighting Designer | TOMMY FERGUSON* Tommy is a second year majoring in Theatre arts, focusing on theatre tech and lighting. Past crew credits at the university include Marie Antoinette, Argonautika, and New Play Festival 2025. He'd like to thank Bryon and Gabby for all their help with designing, as well as Ro for writing and directing this amazing show. |

Assistant Stage Manager | RHYA COWDEN* Rhya Cowden is a 2nd-year majoring in Theatre Arts and Journalism & Mass Communications with a Cinema minor and a certificate in Social Justice and the Performing Arts on the disability studies track. Rhya’s previous credits with the University include "Day Fades into Night Fades into Day" (Jillian), "LARPlay" (Spinneret), and crew positions in "Argonautika", "Drill, Drill, Drill", "When You Read This", and "UH-OH." She is so grateful to be working with this amazing cast and crew! Rhya hopes you enjoy the show and remember, cup of noodles, YOU look good! |
