His writing for the stage and screen approaches current events with surrealism and a distorted sense of language. His work has been presented and funded by Arts Mission Oak Cliff, Black Revolutionary Theater Workshop, Bishop Arts Theatre Center, National New Play Network, Play Penn, Great Plains, the University of Iowa, Yale College, and the Dallas Office of Arts and Culture. He dedicates the piece to Zora Clemons.
