Hail Mary
By Zoe Senese-Grossberg
Directed by Meredith G. Healy

Friday, May 8, 2026 - 1:30 pm
Catalano Acting Studio, Room 172 | UI Theatre Building

Mary, a young trans woman, is staying with her childhood best friend, Olivia, and Olivia’s boyfriend Dean for the weekend. Dean and Olivia–both recent Catholic converts–consistently antagonize her. However, as Mary is demonstrating odd symptoms–fatigue, nausea in the mornings, vivid dreams–something strange, supernatural, or even divine seems to be at play…

Please be advised that Hail Mary contains transphobic and homophobic rhetoric (including misgendering), use of a homophobic slur, misogyny, discussion of sexual violence, and depictions of violence.

The run time is approximately 2  hours and 10 minutes, including a 10-minute intermission.

Guest Roundtable to follow in Room 206.
